The Workday Security Detection team is looking for a Security Engineer
with practical experience spanning detection engineering across a
range of platforms (not just Windows), and response automation.
_YOU WILL_ tackle unsolved problems in detection and response. What

Build security detection and response infrastructure. Engage in the
architecture of new tooling and industrialization of SOC activities.
Creatively improve alerting data across a range of platforms. Perform
gap analyses to identify where extra tooling and automation can extend
the coverage of the security monitoring. Response Automation: build
solutions around open-source and proprietary tools. Support the SOC in
understanding incidents targeting Workday.
What you should have: 2+ years&#**Apply on the website**; experience
as a professional security engineer or cloud engineer
Bachelor&#**Apply on the website**;s degree in computer science or
equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of
Information Security attack methods and techniques Experience in
Software development (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C/C++, ?)
Knowledge of networking and system administration (Linux) A desire to
dive into Big Data, Data Science, Analytics Excellent communication
